The Romanian Mathematical Society (RMS) and the Mathematical Society of SouthEastern Europe (MASSEE) organized the 20^th Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad (JBMO 2016) in Slatina from June 24^th till June 29^th, 2016.

The following MASSEE member countries participated:

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, the former Yugoslavia Republic of Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, and Romania.

Guest participating countries were:

Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, France, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Romania B, and Alutus (team from Slatina).
